Finish at the museum and step into the Alpine Interpretive Centre right next door. Take the drive up Signpost Road to Keno Hill past old mining structures to more hiking trails and an amazing panoramic view. Keno City has a campground, a hotel housed in a historic building, and a couple other options for accommodations.

While the community sees its share of adventurous summer visitors, it has fewer than two dozen year-round residents. Spend a bit of time in Keno and you might see why. When the landscape is this photogenic, your selfie game needs to be on point and most likely on a mountain top. The Silvermoon Bunkhouse offers well-appointed bunkies, with communal kitchen- and bathroom-areas. Owners Tracy and Dirk ensure your stay is enjoyable!

The rooms and shared spaces are kept spotless and the kitchen is equipped with breakfast essentials, as well as tea and coffee. Currently, travel to the Yukon Territory from other Canadian provinces is prohibited.

Only Yukon residents are able to travel to Keno City. From July, BC residents will be allowed to travel to the territory.
