These two traits make them perfect for smaller spaces and lets be honest they are great to watch foraging in any backyard. Thats four large eggs. She is a big pancake.. My little Bob has only just gone broody today. So I gave her a duck egg she wanted 2 but she is tiny. Betty is big for a light sussex bantam so she has 2 duck eggs. They are running duck eggs so they are pretty big. That should be fine but I always find an odd number works better as these can lay in a circle underneath her. Maybe stick a very small bantam egg in there or even a ping pong ball etc.

If she's on 5 LF eggs atm I'd think you can fit 5 under her. My MF Pekin Holly wouldn't agree with that My Orpie eggs are slightly smaller than a Maran egg, so perhaps your Pekin would be happy enough with Orpie eggs, they are all so very different.
